Hello, everyone!

Here is a cute little crochet flower that is super easy to make!  I came up with this pattern to decorate my Unicorn and Fox giftcard holders but it can be used to decorate just about anything.

For this pattern you will need:

worsted weight yarn

size G crochet hook

scissors

yarn needle

Crochet Flower 2:

Make a magic circle.

Ch 2, dc in magic circle, ch 2, sl st in magic circle.  (1 petal is made!) Repeat 5 more times so that you have 6 petals all together.  Cut working yarn and Pull magic circle closed.  Turn the flower over to the back side and tie the 2 yarn ends together.  Trim ends.

Using the next color, cut a piece about 8 inches long.  Thread the yarn through the needle.  Using the needle, push the yarn halfway through the center of the flower.  On the front of the flower, tie a knot in the yarn, close to the flower.  Tie another knot on top of the original knot.  Thread the yarn back down through the center of the flower so that just the double knot is on top.

You can use the yarn ends to tie the flower onto whatever you want to embellish or you can finish of the ends and trim them off.

IMG_3247
One of my favorite gifts to give (and receive) is a gift card! One way to make a gift card more personal is to tuck it inside a special crocheted gift card holder!  This magical unicorn giftcard holder is so cute – it’s the perfect gift for anyone!  It is also super fast and easy to make (you can make it in about an hour!!)

Supplies needed:
Medium weight yarn (white, yellow, black, and 3 colors for
flowers!)
Size G crochet hook
Button (about 1/2 inch)
Scissors
Needle and thread
Yarn needle
Stitch markers (optional)
