Hello, everyone!

Here is a cute little crochet flower that is super easy to make!  I came up with this pattern to decorate my Unicorn and Fox giftcard holders but it can be used to decorate just about anything.

For this pattern you will need:

worsted weight yarn

size G crochet hook

yarn needle

Crochet Flower 2:

Make a magic circle.

Ch 2, dc in magic circle, ch 2, sl st in magic circle.  (1 petal is made!) Repeat 5 more times so that you have 6 petals all together.  Cut working yarn and Pull magic circle closed.  Turn the flower over to the back side and tie the 2 yarn ends together.  Trim ends.

Using the next color, cut a piece about 8 inches long.  Thread the yarn through the needle.  Using the needle, push the yarn halfway through the center of the flower.  On the front of the flower, tie a knot in the yarn, close to the flower.  Tie another knot on top of the original knot.  Thread the yarn back down through the center of the flower so that just the double knot is on top.

You can use the yarn ends to tie the flower onto whatever you want to embellish or you can finish of the ends and trim them off.
