It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Time to crochet holiday decorations for the whole house! These crochet peppermints are very easy and fast to make. They are perfect for hanging on the tree, decorating wrapped presents, or embellishing Crochet Giftcard Holders!

For this pattern you will need:
For tiny peppermint:
size 10 crochet cotton in 2 colors
size 6 crochet hook
For larger peppermint:
worsted weight yarn
size I crochet hook
Crochet Peppermint Pattern:
Color change dc: using the current color, yo, insert hook in the same dc, yo, pull up lp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, drop first color, yo with new color, draw through last 2 lps of st.
Round 1: Make a magic circle, chain 3 (counts as first dc), in magic circle make 11 dc. Pull magic circle closed.
Round 2: Chain 3 (counts as a dc) In the same stitch, make a color change dc (see special stitches) using the other yarn color of your choice. You should now have your second color on your hook and 2 dc completed in the first dc. In the next stitch, dc and dc with color change. Continue around with a dc and a dc with color change in each stitch. At the end, you should have 24 dc alternating in colors by two all the way around. Finish off and weave in the ends!
